$1 Million Lawsuit Against Travis Scott and Drake
A lawsuit has been filed against singers Travis Scott and Drake after 8 people lost their lives and hundreds were injured in a stampede at the Astroworld Festival held in Houston, Texas, USA.
According to the news in the BBC; An injured person at the concert accused famous rapper Travis Scott and Drake of inciting the crowd, seeking $1 million in damages.
In a lawsuit filed by 23-year-old Kristian Paredes, Scott and Drake were accused of ‘inciting riots and violence’, while the venue and entertainment company allegedly failed to provide adequate security and medical services.

In another lawsuit he filed, Manuel Souza, who was injured in the stampede, sought $1 million in damages from Scott, Live Nation and the concert organizer.
Noah Gutierrez, 21, has reportedly been sued as well, with more lawsuits expected in the coming days for other victims.
Scott and Drake did not comment on the lawsuits.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Eight people died and hundreds were injured in the stampede when Scott was performing at the Astroworld Festival in Houston at 21:00 local time on Friday.
In a statement after the stampede, Scott said he was trying to help the families of the victims, the youngest 14-year-old.
