50 Cent once again took to Instagram to take smollett the clown. Jussie Smollett was released from prison on Wednesday night (March 16) to appeal his conviction for lying to police about a racist and homophobic attack.
The “Empire” star was released from the Cook County Jail in Chicago after serving less than a week of his 150-day sentence. After the appeals court ruling,
“They let this idiot go in less than a week. LOL,” he wrote alongside a Deadline.com caption.
In the midst of his sentencing last week, he mocked Smollett, 50, over the explosion in the courtroom, during which time he pleaded not guilty.
“I’m not suicidal! I’m not suicidal and I’m innocent. A long time ago I could have said I was guilty,” the actor said as he was punched out of the courtroom.
Instead of weighing in the ’50s, he couldn’t help. “If I go to court again, I don’t care if it’s for a parking ticket. I’m going to say this, I’m NOT a suicide, I’m INNOCENT.” “A LONG TIME AGO, I COULD HAVE SAID I WAS GUILTY. When I left.”
A Cook County judge has asked him to immediately begin 150 days in prison for five counts of indecent conduct.
On Wednesday night, he was released from prison with supporters.
