A New Update on the Pop Smoke Case
Bashar Barakah Jackson, known by his stage name Pop Smoke, was gunned down at his home on February 19, 2020. Police arrived at the scene of the crime within six minutes, found Pop Smoke shot, and was immediately rushed to the hospital. The young rapper could not hold on to life after the interventions in the hospital.
The LAPD announced on 9 July 2020 on Twitter that they had identified suspects involved in the incident. The next day, they announced the names of the suspects as Corey Walker, Keandre D. Rodgers, and Jaquan Murphy in the information they made on Twitter again.

Corey Walker, one of the suspects in the police department’s statement, will remain behind bars indefinitely with the decision made after the last hearing.
A Los Angeles County judge denied the 20-year-old’s bail request after prosecutors argued that his case “doesn’t qualify for bail under the letter of law”.
One of the rumors we’ve heard is that the person who killed Pop Smoke was the youngest of the suspects. Allegedly, the youngest suspect, in his confession to his cellmate, stated that he had taken the deadly shot.
