Baby Keem Weighs Kendrick Lamar Joint Album
Baby Keem is set to appear on a joint album with Kendrick Lamar.
Ahead of next month’s Grammys, Grammy.com, a first-time nominee, spoke to her cousin about a potential joint project. While fans remain hopeful of dream matchmaking, Keem says there’s a 50 per cent chance it will become a reality.
“That’s a good question. It’s like half-50,” he said when asked about the possibility of a full Keem/Kendrick collaboration project. “It can and it can’t be, I don’t know. It depends on a lot of factors that I don’t have to control. I mean, that’s what the world wants. The world wants it, then it can.”

The pgLang affiliates collaborated on tracks from Keem’s debut album, “Range Brothers” and “Family Ties,” which were nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance at the Grammys, but Keem was also nominated for Best New Artist and kanye west’s DONDA was nominated for Album of the Year.
Baby Keem reveals his close bond with Kendrick Lamar
The 21-year-old said in an earlier interview with Apple Music about her close bond with Kendrick.
He went on to say that he had “gone beyond music.” “Whenever I need something in life and I need some wisdom, then I go to it,” he said. “He and Dave are one of the first people I’ve ever looked at free.”
These days, Keem finds himself digging in the crates and listening to old music from Kendrick, Kanye, Outkast, and Frank Ocean, who is at the top of his wish list of collaborators.
“I find myself going back to a lot of old music. A lot of old Kanye and Outkast, obviously,” he said. “But those are just songs — album-wise, I really go back and dig. Like I said before, Frank. Even my cousin’s old albums. I think it’s important to have your own individuality, but also be able to reference art from the past.”
