Beyoncé is back.
Queen Bey kicked off the Renaissance era with her new single “Break My Soul“, which was released on Monday night.
The feel-good dance anthem, which samples Robin S.’s song “Show Me Love” and features advertising libs from Big Freedia, comes on the first day of summer and will allow you to bopping all season long.
“The gentleman is back and I sleep really well at night,” he says. “And we went back outside / You said you outside but you’re not outside / Outside masked around the world in a hoodie / In case you forget how we behave outside.”
Produced by Tricky Stewart, The-Dream and Beyoncé, “Break My Soul” is the first offering for Bey’s seventh studio album, Renaissance, which will be released on July 29. The track also includes a writing credit from JAY-Z.
