Big Latto Announces New Album ‘777’
Latto keeps coming like a bomb.
The 23-year-old Atlanta rapper announced the arrival of his highly anticipated sophomore album 777 on March 25. Along with the caption, she posted a symbolic cover image of him finding his knives on a board.
“I’ve given so much thought to my artworks, I hope you like it and understand where I am mentally,” she told fans. “Music will give as much as visuals! I PROMISE YOU THAT!”
The album spanded the top 40 hits “Big Energy“, currently number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the latest single “Wheelie”, featuring 21 Savages.
In a recent interview with Angie Martinez, she opened up about the sequel to the first Queen of Da Souf in 2020.

“I’m very passionate about my work so I’m never gonna put out no bullsh*t. I know I got a lot of eyes on me right now and it’s a little pressure to deliver,” said Latto, who has a “777” tattoo. “So I’m like this gotta be up to par. I feel like my growth as a woman reflects in my music, you’re gonna hear the evolution and just new experiences, new relationships I have to talk about.”
Before the album drops, she will hit the road on her “777 Tour,” which kicks off March 19 in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Big Latto Says She Didn’t Pick Sides Between Nicki and Cardi
Big Latto does not want to take sides in the Nicki Minaj vs. Cardi B competition. Latto’s ideas about both are pretty clear.
The Atlanta rapper talked about her newly released single “Wheelie” featuring 21 Savage on Ebro in the Morning. As you know, Latto kept the collaboration secret before the song’s music video was released. She just gave some hints. So many fans were almost convinced that Latto would work with either Nicki or Cardi.
Twitter conversations began to heat up after fans had some heated arguments over Latto picking sides.
“You have to tread lightly with stan culture,” Latto said. “Like, ‘I’m team this and I’m gonna die about it.’ I be like, ‘Hands up, don’t shoot me.’ I be like, ‘Whoa!’ For instance, I had clapped back— I’m still a new-school baby—I’m still young. I’m still tryin’ to turn the other cheek […] So, I’m clapping back at somebody. and they’re like, ‘Oh, you’re purposely responding to Nicki Minaj pages!’”
