Bobby Shmurda Talks About His Days In Prison

Bobby Shmurda served six years in prison on various charges. It has been more than a year since the famous rapper was released from prison.

The rapper met with Variety to talk about his time on the system. He talked about some of his experiences in prison. He replied when asked what he was most obsessed with. “the riots or the sex on the visits,” the latter of which he said was solely oral sex. “I mean, sometimes,” he said of being caught in the act by guards. “Some of them wouldn’t care, they’d be like [shrugs]. Some would be like [in deep voice], ‘Ackquille Pollard! Chill, hold it down, end! What the fuck you doing?! This girl right here, both of y’all get the fuck out!’”

Shmurda announced last November that he needed sex therapy. The following month, the rapper said in a Hot 97 interview that he stuck around for “about a month” after throwing away his old phone and buying a new device, remaining single.

“You can’t be playing with people’s feelings like that,” he said. “Real shit, everytime you feel you get mad or something…Listen, [it’s] better than drugs, you know. Better than drugs and shooting people in the streets.”

Bobby Shmurda Says He Would Rather Get A Verse From Pop Smoke

Bobby Shmurda talked a lot in the hot seat during a recent interview. While speaking to DJ Akademiks, the Brooklyn rapper was asked if he would rather take a verse from Pop Smoke or JAY-Z.

Akademiks said that pop smoke is a He explained that it would be “smashing” and that “the whole of New York City would love him” before suggesting Hov, a song with GOAT himself.

Shmurda didn’t hesitate to pick Pop Smoke. He even began mimicking how the late rapper would sound in his songs.

“That’s my little n**a. I like it. I love JAY, too, but I like it,” he told a shocked Akademiks.
