Britney Spears ‘ Father Applies To Court For End Of Guardianship
Britney Spears is close to victory in her fight to end her father Jamie Spears ‘ 13-year guardianship. There was an unexpected development in the case, which the famous singer called a ‘liberation from slavery’ battle, and his father applied to the court to end the guardianship.
The lawsuit filed by Britney Spears to remove her father’s 13-year guardianship, which she described as a “struggle for freedom,” has taken an unexpected turn. The 39-year-old singer’s father, Jamie Spears, has made a statement to the court that he wants to leave the guardianship.
Father Spears said he accepted his request in response to his daughter’s lawsuit demanding the end of her 13-year guardianship.

“GUARDIANSHIP MAY NO LONGER CONTINUE”
In a statement submitted to the court on behalf of Jamie Spears, he said: “as recent events raise questions that the terms of this guardianship have changed, the guardianship may not continue any longer. Ms Spears told the court she wanted to take back control of her life by asking for the end of her guardianship. He wants to be able to make decisions about his health status, he wants to choose when, where and how to go to therapy. He wants to spend the money he made from his career without inspection and supervision. He wants to be able to get married and have a baby if he decides that way. In short, he wants to live his life by his own choice without Guardian restrictions or court process.”

“DAD SPEARS WANTS TO AVOID TRIAL”

“Mr Spears repeatedly and repeatedly said his only wish was for the best for his daughter, ” the document submitted to the court said. If Ms. Spears wants the guardianship to be finished and believes that she can handle her own life, Mr. Spears believes that she should have that chance,” the statement said.
Mathew Rosengart, a lawyer for Britney Spears, confirmed this development regarding father Spears, saying, “this application is as indicative of her legal victory as it is of Britney Spears being exonerated.” Attorney Rosengart stated that Jamie Spears ‘ move was intended to avoid accountability and prosecution before the law. Britney Spears will continue to explore all options, the lawyer said.
Jamie Spears has been the guardian of his daughter since 2009. He was also the guardian of the person overseeing his health and medical issues until he left office in 2019. Jodi Montgomery was then appointed as Spears ‘ temporary guardian. At a hearing in June, Britney Spears accused her father of “abuse of guardianship” and described the arrangement as “cruel.”
“BRITNEY: DAD DRUGGING ME”

“My father won’t let me get married and have children, he’s drugged me, he’s put me to sleep,” Britney Spears said at the hearing, referring to the ‘freedom from slavery’ case her father Jamie Spears filed to end the 13-year guardianship in which she controls his life and money. The famous singer said her father’s control had turned into abuse.
“I want to move forward slowly. I want to get married and have a baby. But the current guardian said I couldn’t get married or have a baby, ” she said. So basically, this system gives me more dice than benefits. I deserve a life. I worked all my life, ” she said.
