Britney Spears’ Father Wants His Money

Jamie Spears, whose 13-year guardianship ended with a court decision last month, again demanded money from his daughter Britney Spears. Jamie Spears, who applied to the court asked Britney for $1200 an hour.

A significant portion of Britney Spears‘ independence was taken away by a decision made last 2008. Many of her financial career and personal decisions were taken by her father, Jamie Spears who became his guardian.

The guardianship arrangement, which took Britney Spears  independence for 13 years, was lifted by a court decision last month. In line with this decision, Britney Spears took back control of all her assets. According to this situation, Britney announced that lawyers will not be paid for her personal business or supervision.

By the way, about a month after the guardianship ended, the pop star’s father Jamie Spears, applied to get money from his daughter Britney Spears. Jamie Spears demanded that the famous singer’s assets continue to be paid legally. But Britney Spears‘ lawyers described the situation as “disgusting”.

Britney Spears had always made payments to her father Jamie Spears during her 13 years as guardian. He had to pay for the end of the guardianship during the war he fought in the last 4 years.

He wants 1200 dollars

It was stated that he requested an hourly payment of $1200 from Britney Spears.

The petition submitted by Jamie Spears is as follows;  “Immediate payment of Jamie’s attorney’s fees is necessary to ensure the swift and efficient termination of guardianship to allow Britney to take control of her life as she and Jamie wish.”

Mathew Rosengart Very reactive

Britney Spears‘ attorney Mathew Rosengart, in his response to Father Spears’ request said:

“Mr Spears received millions of dollars from Britney as a guardian and paid her lawyers millions more of Britney’s hard-earned money. Guardianship was terminated and Mr Spears was infamously suspended. Under these circumstances, his petition is not only legally worthless, but also disgusting. A father who loves his daughter doesn’t do that.”
