Britney Spears Reacts to Jamie Lynn’s ABC News Interview: ‘My Family Ruined My Dreams’
Britney Spears reveals she‘s not happy with her sister‘s ABC News interview. On Thursday night, she posted on social media to share her honest thoughts on 40-year-old pop star Jamie Lynn‘s interview with Juju Chang.
Jamie Lynn was promoting his new memoir Things I Should Have Said, which explores his personal struggles and his role in his sister‘s 13-year conservatory.
Spears told fans she watched parts of the interview Wednesday night as she endured a 104-degree fever and severe headache.
“It was actually nice that the temperature was so high because I had to surrender to not caring. I just didn‘t care, but my head hurts so bad . . . ” She wrote.
Spears said there were two particularly disturbing parts of Jamie Lynn‘s interview, but she said she was not the only one. One of them came about when her sister Jamie Lynn mentioned Spears‘ “erratic” behaviour 15 years ago.
“Fifteen years ago, I was never around at the time. . . If he doesn‘t want to sell a book at my expense, why are they talking about it??? I really ???” Spears wrote. She also expressed frustration with Jamie Lynn‘s comments about his “praise” at the Radio Disney Music Awards in 2017, where spears performed remixes of his biggest hits.

“Then where the lady mentioned why did she accuse you of doing remixes to her songs … I know it may sound like a silly thing to most people but I wrote a lot of my songs and my sister was the baby,” Spears continued. “She never had to work for anything. Everything was always given to her!
“ … But see, now it’s a joke. The last thing I would ever do is ask for what was given to her!! So yes, they did ruin my dreams,” Spears wrote, before confirming she was taking a break from Instagram. “… My family ruined my dreams 100 billion percent and tried to make me look like the crazy one. My family loves to put me down and hurt me always, so I am disgusted with them!!”
