Rapper Cardi B, who hosted the American Music Awards for the first time, wore 8 different outfits in the night. He excited the audience without knowing how to get tired. She completed the look with a custom gold face mask featuring Swarovski crystal eyebrow, nose and lip piercings.
Cardi B donned a giant Mohawk-inspired cap from Alexandre Vauthier’s Fall 2021 fashion collection. She paired the accessory, which rises above her head and reaches the floor behind her, with a black long-sleeved velvet dress, a bold silver and crystal necklace, and matching bracelets.
Cardi wore a tailored Jean Paul Gaultier dress as she took the stage to accept “Up” for the Favorite Hip-Hop Song award. She paired the high-neck dress with minimal jewellery, letting her bright color and straight hip-length hair stand out.
Choosing Schiaparelli again for the most casual look of the night, Cardi B wore a denim jacket covered with gold and silver breastplate details, the signature of the fashion house, with a pair of black leather pants.
She also finished the show in a white dress with a thigh-length slit paired with a crystal-embellished hoodie by London designer Ms. Sohee, also reported by harpersbazaar.com. The structural headboard is covered with crystals that adorn the sides in a starburst pattern.
