Coi Leray Advises Benzino to Get Help
The family feud between Benzino and Coi Leray continues. The fight is completely reflected on social media.
Coi Leray’s Trendsetter finally arrived on April 8, but that development didn’t stop family members from discussing it in front of the world. There were developments again in the afternoon.
“[What] makes you weirdos think you could ever tell me or have an opinion about me and my daughter?” tweeted Benzino. “Think about what type of mental illness one must have to do that. Y’all entire lives will be wasted commenting on s### you don’t know. Smh what type of mind and life is that?”

Benzino targeted trolls on social media. Coi decided to call out to her own father on Twitter. She replied to Benzino by tweeting. “You want me to post these screenshots of what you said to me? Or you wanna just chill or go get help? Lmk.”
The former co-owner of The Source magazine broke up her collaboration with Nicki Minaj before the project was announced. It almost stopped Nicki and Coi from working together.
“I’mma need you to sit the f### down, grab you some popcorn, enjoy the show, and clap for me when it’s time to clap for me. Alright, Daddy? Don’t worry. I told him this before I hopped online,” expressed Leray at the time.
“Blick Blick!” It peaked at #37 on the Billboard’s Hot 100 during its three-week run on the chart. The Trendsetter album managed to reach only #89 on the Billboard 200.

Reported low sales for Trendsetter prompted Benzino to address his relationship with his daughter. On her Instagram page, he mocked her daughter’s debut album, which opened with less than 20,000 units in its first week. Benzino later claimed that he did not manage this account.
Coi Leray Comments Against Low Sales of ‘Trendsetter’ Album
Coi Leray published Trendsetter on April 8th. She continued her rapid ascent to the top.
Initial reports of the album’s sales suggest that initial sales figures will be below the 20,000 mark.
DJ Akademiks tweeted about the issue on Tuesday evening. “Coi Leray ‘Trendsetter’ on pace to sell 11K first week,” tweeted DJ Akademiks on Tuesday.
“God has been the best father to me. I can’t complain about anything. My debut album is amazing and not one song can you say is bad. [It’s] been 5 days. I understand Coi Leray is so viral & works good on blogs headlines but trust me, it’s all part of the game, just ride out and stay [focused],” tweeted Leray.
