Danileigh Addresses ‘TOXIC’ Relationship With Dababy On ‘DEAD TO ME’

DaniLeigh opens up about Dababy drama.

In November, Dani and Baby were spotted fighting on Instagram Live while Dani was breastfeeding their newborn baby girl. After the explosive arguments, Baby called the police to remove his child from his mother’s house, claiming he had been assaulted. Dani was charged with two counts of assault.

Six months later, the singer breaks her silence about her headline-grabbing feud and her 8-month-old daughter Velour’s relationship with her father. On her new single “Dead to Me,” DaniLeigh discusses their alienated relationship.

“You know you’re dead to me / I don’t have more time for toxic energy,” she sings. “My mom never liked your ass, my brother wants to fight your ass, your dad hates your junk ass.”

Dani also sat down with Angie Martinez, with whom she was candid about her “on and off” relationship with DaBaby, which began in September 2019.

“It was poisonous. We had some really good times. We were in love.” “They had little complications and work, so we broke up for a month and then got back together … We broke up a lot.”

When asked about their fight, she said: “It was very selfish of me to have our baby.”

Baby didn’t apologize to Dani. “It still is,” he said.

During the in-depth interview, she admitted that maintaining a relationship with Baby was a “challenge,” but they remained mutual parents of their daughter.

He kept going and got worse. “I’ve learned to love myself a lot more,” he said. “Because I feel like I really loved her so much, I was giving her everything … I didn’t even focus on my career.”
