Diddy Previews The Weeknd Collaboration
Looks like a new Diddy era is finally coming.
The hip-hop icon appears to have teased a brand new song featuring The Weeknd as part of a Beats by Dre commercial starring Kayvon Thibodeaux. Diddy arrives in the middle of a one-minute clip to share some empowering words that capture the NFL nominee’s story of perseverance and determination.
“I’m a man with ambitions to be the best I’ve ever been… Sometimes you have to go through the darkness to manifest,” Aabil raps before singing, “I don’t feel like it.”
The Weeknd’s vocals were first recorded during the Kiss Land era. In August 2020, apple music shared a demo version of the show “Memento Mori” called “Another One of Me” in the “Kiss Land” episode. Another version of the track with French Montana was leaked earlier this year.

Diddy‘s teaser comes amid a report that Jasmine Brand has signed a new deal with Motown Records as she prepares to release her first project since MMM (Money Making Mitch) in 2015.
Last year, he announced plans to release an R&B album called Off the Grid, but never saw the light of day. “I’m making a classic,” he said, and also announced that he was recording an R&B version of his 1997 hit “It’s All About the Benjamins.”
As the musical prepares for its comeback, Diddy will host and executive produce the 2022 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on May 15.
Diddy To Host 2022 Billboard Music Awards
Hip Hop legend Diddy will take over the reign of this year’s Billboard Music Awards. He will also be the executive producer of the ceremony.
“This will be unlike any awards show – I’m bringing the love and setting the frequency at an all-time high,” said Diddy, founder of Boy Records. He continues, “The Billboard Music Awards truly represent the artists and where music is today, so I’m excited to curate the biggest live performances and surprises. The world has to tune in to see.”
2022 is also a very important year for Diddy. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Diddy’s first Billboard Music Award win in 1997.
Sean “Diddy” Combs debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts with thirty-seven entries, including five Number Ones. ‘Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down’ topped the Hot 100 for six weeks.
