Diddy To Host 2022 Billboard Music Awards
Hip Hop legend Diddy will take over the reign of this year’s Billboard Music Awards. He will also be the executive producer of the ceremony.
“This will be unlike any awards show – I’m bringing the love and setting the frequency at an all-time high,” said Diddy, founder of Boy Records. He continues, “The Billboard Music Awards truly represent the artists and where music is today, so I’m excited to curate the biggest live performances and surprises. The world has to tune in to see.”
2022 is also a very important year for Diddy. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Diddy’s first Billboard Music Award win in 1997.
Sean “Diddy” Combs debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts with thirty-seven entries, including five Number Ones. ‘Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down’ topped the Hot 100 for six weeks.
“I’ll Be Missing You” and “Can’t Could Hold Me Down” are featured on the 1997 classic album No Way Out.
The 2022 Billboard Music Awards will be in front of fans live on NBC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 15 at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT. The event will be broadcast live on Peacock. Mary J. Blige, a Sean “Diddy” Combs collaborator, will receive the Icon Award.
Diddy Says Will Smith And Chris Rock Settled Feud After Oscars
It’s all right between Will Smith and Chris Rock. According to Diddy , the pair made up for smith slapping the comedian on stage after he joked about Jada Pinkett Smith during Sunday’s Oscars broadcast.
“That’s not a problem. It’s over. I can confirm that,” the hip-hop mogul told Page Six when asked about their feud at the Vanity Fair Oscar party.
“It’s all love,” Puff added. “They’re brothers.”
Jada rolled her eyes after rock G.I. Jane joked. The actress revealed she shaved her head last year after battling alopecia.
