At this year’s BET Awards, legendary Hip Hop boss Sean “ Diddy ” Combs will honor him with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson will take on the role of host at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Diddy will be present there for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
“Diddy has always been a pioneering force in our community, breaking barriers, achieving unprecedented heights, blazing new trails, and, in so doing, raising the bar for all of us,” says Scott Mills, BET CEO.
Mills also adds, “His virtuosity is matched only by his range – from music to media, culture, business, and philanthropy – Diddy has exemplified Black Excellence. We are delighted to have this opportunity to use our biggest stage to recognize the extraordinary accomplishments of our friend Diddy.”
BET has previously given this honor to names such as Whitney Houston, Prince, Queen Latifah.
“Puff’s contributions to culture transcend Hip hop. Growing up in DC, I watched his rise at Howard University as he repped Black excellence from day one. It’s an honor to celebrate him now, while he is still on his incredible journey,” says Jesse Collins.
Diddy Confirms He’s Dating Yung Miami Opens Up About Relationship
Diddy prepares to shape his life.
The hip-hop mogul sat down with Yung Miami for a “real raw and uncut” interview as part of his new REVOLT series “Caresha Please.” City Girl, as she sat her man in the warm seat, questioned him about their much-talked-about relationship.
“What is your relationship status?” Miami asked from the bat.
“I’m single, but I’m dating, spending time with my life,” the 52-year-old icon said before asking her to define their status.
“We’re leaving. We’re dating. We go and have appointments, we are friends. We go to exotic places, we have great times.” “We go to strip clubs, to church. I’ll take you to church.”
Caresha then asked her man what he liked about her. “Because you’re authentic. You’re like one of the most real people I’ve ever met.” “You are authentically yourself and a wonderful mother and a wonderful friend. You’re the most fun.”
