DJ Khaled, Mariah Carey To Join Big Latto

Superstar Mariah Carey and producer DJ Khaled have joined forces with famous rapper Big Latto. A new remix of the hit song “Big Energy” met with fans.

The 23-year-old rapper Latto posed with Carey on her Instagram account in hot pink dresses. Latto wrote “Big Energy Remix MONDAY” to his 8.9 million followers. DJ Khaled shared the photo on his account. He confirmed the news.

The collaboration between Latto and Carey is of course not surprising. “Big Energy” sampled the 1981 single “Genius of Love” by US band Tom Tom Lotto Club, which you’ll recognize from Carey’s hit song “Fantasy.”

Lizzo and Big Latto Will Be Together on “The Special Tour”

Lizzo and Big Latto will tour together this year. The special guest of Lizzo’s North American “The Special Tour” will be Latto.

The “The Special Tour” will begin September 23 in Sunrise, Florida. Fans in Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles and other cities should be excited for Lizzo’s live performance. The talented rapper released her new single “About Damn Time” on April 14. Produced by Ricky Reed/Black Slatkin, the track will also be featured on the Atlantic recording artist’s upcoming Special studio LP.

The special will arrive at DSPs on July 15. As you may know from our website, Lizzo sang “About Damn Time” and the title track of the project on NBC’s Saturday Night Live sketch comedy show. Collaborating with Cardi, Lizzo rose to #4 on Billboard’s weekly Hot 100 song chart. The RIAA succeeded in obtaining the “Rumors” certification as Gold, with 500,000 units sold.

The Special will be added to a Lizzo catalog that includes 2013’s Lizzobangers, 2015’s Big Grrrl Small World, and 2019’s Cuz I Love You.

She released her own 777 studio LP in March.
