Dr. Dre Reaches $100 Million Divorce Settlement, With Ex-Wife Nicole Young
In the summer of 2020, Nicole Young filed for divorce with Dr. Dre. By this time there was a battle between them as the hip-hop legend had to pay millions of dollars in legal fees to his estranged wife.
Now the duo come to an agreement in their divorce settlement. That includes a $100 million property deal, TMZ reported.
From now on, Dre would pay Nicole $50 million, and another year later he would give her another $50 million. The good news for Dr Dre is that he holds seven properties. One in Malibu, one in Calabasas, four in the Los Angeles area and one in Brentwood.
Dre also retains all rights to its master records, trademarks partnerships and trusts. This includes all Apple stock and Beats By Dre sales.
He will get 6 himself and Nicole 4 for their car. The jewelry, cash and bank accounts that Nicole initiates and receives will belong to Nicole. Nicole also has to deal with her own legal situation.
They were married since 1996
With this deal, Nicole won’t get spousal support, but she could have gotten more in this deal if it had been completed last week. Dre celebrated the conclusion of the divorce with big balloons that read “Divorced AF”. The two had been married since 1996.

Dr. Dre has reportedly made a deal with his ex-wife, Nicole Young, to finalize their divorce. The couple married in 1996 and they have two children, Truice and Truly.
The couple, who had financial disagreements and had problems with money, eventually parted ways by mutual agreement. Nicole, 51, reportedly requested $2 million a month from rapper and producer Dr. Dre.
