Drake Is Still A Hot Name For Acting
Drake hasn’t taken a step towards his acting career for a long time. However, studios continue to consider him for some acting roles.
Character designer Jared Krichevsky, who has worked on movies like The Wolverine, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Wonder Woman, took to Instagram to say that Drake was being considered a Cyborg in a TV show. “Cyborg concept for a series that didn’t happen,” he wrote in the caption. “They wanted to cast Drake at one point.”
Drake is best known for his role as James “Jimmy” Brooks in Degrassi: The Next Generation, starring in 100 episodes between 2001 and 2008.

“Acting is another thing that I just can’t wait to really dive into, I think after I release More Life, which is this playlist I’m working on and finish this tour,” he said at the time. “I think I’m going to really start to position myself in the acting world and, hopefully, take some great roles.”
He continued, “At the end of the day, it’s all about the time you’re willing to put in. And, my biggest fear is always when I’m not doing it, there’s someone else that’s doing it. That’s my biggest fear in life. When I’m not doing it. When I take a night off for my personal life.
He added, “When I choose to decompress or relax — not in the back of my mind, in the front of my mind — my biggest fear is if somebody’s not relaxing right now and they’re going to stumble upon something.”
Drake Makes Huge Profit By Selling Houses
Drake sold one of his California homes to the Super Bowl champion.
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford bought the Hidden Hills homes for $11 million, according to the Wall Street Journal. The NFL star bought the house for much more than the $7.4 million price.
Drake had originally purchased the homes for $7.35 million. Thus, he made a very profitable deal. He’s also trying to sell his wasteful YOLO property, also in Hidden Hills. The YOLO property has yet to be sold at an asking price of $14.8 million.
