Drake Makes Billboard History!
Drake continues to break records with his new album “Certified Lover Boy”. It has listed 9 out of 10 tracks in the Billboard Top 10. He broke his previous record. This is really perfect.
Drake, who did not disappoint his fans’ expectations, received very positive feedback, while fans made fun of Kanye West’s “Donda” album. While he states that only Drake can make an album of this quality, the album is running from record to record.
The album is #1 on the Best R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and #1 on the Best Rap Albums Chart. Drake’s most popular songs were “Way 2 Sexy” and “Girls Want Girls”. To the surprise of many, there was no track from Kanye West’s “Donda” album.
“Way 2 Sexy” is at #1 thanks to the music video released with the album. According to Billboard, with 600,000 copies sold in its first week of release, “CLB” – as it’s commonly called – had its biggest sales week in more than a year.
Released via OVO/Republic, the album dropped Kanye West’s “Donda” from its top spot a week later.
.@Drake boasts one of the most dominant weeks ever on the Billboard #Hot100, as he becomes the first act to claim 9 of the top 10 in a single frame. 💯https://t.co/wkPHEDK2Ns

Let’s Look at the Records of Drake
According to data from the artist’s record label, “CLB” saw global consumption approaching 1 million units in its first week. It’s a huge success, marking the first time in the chart’s 63-year history that an artist has debuted with a Billboard Hot 100 Top 5 song – previously only achieved by The Beatles for a week in 1964. The Beatles have the most points with 19, followed by Jay-Z with 14. Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand each have 11, and Drake, West, Eminem, and Elvis Presley all have 10.
The Billboard 200 isn’t the only Billboard chart where Drake has topped. We are experiencing one of those rare and special occasions when an artist debuts with 9 songs in the top 10 and an artist hits #1 on both the Billboard 200 Chart and the Billboard Hot 100Drake makes Billboard history.

The sequel to the five-time platinum 2018 “Scorpion” album, Drake’s latest films include Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Rick Ross, Future, Young Thug, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Cudi, 21 Wild and more and more, it is appreciated by its fans and all music lovers.
The hip hop artist, also known as Champagne Papi (and Drizzy), is still celebrating eight BET Hip Hop Award nominations, including Hip Hop Artist of the Year.
