Drake Reacted Harshly to Grammys By Withdrawing From His Nominations

Drake has decided to withdraw his two Grammy nominations.Decided to step back after the 35-year-old was nominated for best rap album for Certified Lover Boy and ”Best Rap Performance” for his song Way 2 Sexy featuring Future and Young Thug.Grammy, which is seen as one of the most important awards in the music world, does not have the same excitement for everyone. After Drake was nominated in 2 categories He announced that he was withdrawing his nomination. He had previously expressed disappointment after receiving the “Best Rap Song” award.

On the subject, Drake emphasized that he was misjudged in a statement he made.

“Maybe because I’ve rapped in the past or because I’m black I don’t understand why”

“I almost feel alienated or you purposely try to alienate me by winning rap awards or you calm me down by giving me something, you put me in that category because you don’t know where to put me and you see it as the only place.”
