Eminem Becomes Most Certified Artist In RIAA History

On Tuesday, March 8, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced 73.5 million new Gold and Platinum Program certifications for Eminem.

According to the press release, he is the #1 award-winning musician for singles and one of seven artists in any genre or era to have achieved it with three or more Diamond Album Awards.

Eminem’s six combined RIAA Diamond awards further cement his career achievements. His RIAA Award career total has reached 227.5 million. (166 million single certificates and 61.5 million album certificates). source: hiphopdx.

According to Billboard, Eminem’s Curtain Call: The Hits climbed from #126 to #8 on the Billboard 200. Thus, it entered the top 10 for the first time since March 2006.

This project debuted at number 1 after it hit the music market in December 2005. It earned nearly 31,000 album-equivalent units after the Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show. On the other hand, there was a 256% increase in sales.
