Family of Lauren Smith-Fields Applaud Cardi B
Lauren Smith-Fields’ family expressed their gratitude to Cardi B, who contributed and assisted with the investigation into the TikTok influencer’s death.
The 23-year-old TikTok influencer from Connecticut was found dead on December 12 after leaving home for a date. Authorities determined the cause of death was acute poisoning by “Fentanyl prescription drug and alcohol” earlier this week.
According to the news reached by HotNewHipHop, Lauren Smith-Fields died 48 hours before her family was notified.
When her family came to her Bridgeport, Connecticut apartment to check on her, they found a note on the door. The note was: “Call this number if you’re looking for Lauren”.

A detective reported that after scars, TikTok influencer Lauren Smith-Fields died on December 12.
Cardi B, who tweeted about the handling of the case, made a harsh exit to the authorities. “Justice for Lauren. Connecticut you have failed that young lady!!!”

Speaking about the mission, authorized police officers announced that they are filing a criminal case that caused the death of Lauren Smith-Fields.
The family’s lawyer spoke to TMZ about Cardi. “instrumental in getting Lauren’s tragic death to become a criminal case, police launched their investigation only after Cardi spoke out”.
Cardi B Is A Really Sensitive Rapper
Cardi B’s respectful act comes after she promised to pay for the funerals for the families of 17 people who died in an apartment fire in the Bronx earlier this month.
“When I heard about the fire and all of the victims, I knew I needed to do something to help,” Cardi said in a statement.
“I cannot begin to imagine the pain and anguish that the families of the victims are experiencing, but I hope that not having to worry about the costs associated with burying their loved ones will help as they move forward and heal. I send my prayers and condolences to everyone affected by this horrific tragedy.”
Cardi B also won her lawsuit earlier this week against blogger Tasha K, whom she accused of running a “malicious campaign” to tarnish her reputation.
