Future Happy Because Album Released
In less than four days, Future is set to release his new album, I Never Loved You. After revealing the name of the album, he shared a preview of his collaboration with Kanye West titled “Keep It Burning“.
“Too late me, I’ve got nails in my hand / The city is on fire,” Ye raps in the video trailer before starting the Hndrxx verse.
The song first appeared in an early version of Ye’s DONDA 2, which Future executive produced before being released from the album.
In the GQ cover story, Future opens up about his friendship with Ye.
“Me and Kanye have always had an affair,” he said. “But it’s hard for people to understand, because I don’t put everything on Instagram. Kanye flew me to Paris in 2011 or 2012 to study music. When I was discussing the clothing line before I came, the shoe business before I came. People don’t know I can go to her house and be pulled straight into the crim d’or. We just never talked about it.”
The full song drops with I Never Loved You on Friday, which is expected to include collaborations with FKA twigs and Babyface Ray. Earlier in the week, Future unveiled its cover image.
“Putting this project together is about people understanding that I love it. I probably like the hardest,” he told GQ.I wanted to showcase my talents, from melodies to subjects and being vulnerable.”
