Future Is Executive Producing Jacquees New Album
Jacquees summons some big star powers for his next album. Self-proclaimed R&B King Future has announced that he will executive produce his upcoming album. He made the big announcement Friday during FOX 5 Atlanta’s visit to “Good Day Atlanta.”
“My new album falls in the summer of 2022 and is run by Future,” he said.
He previously teamed up with the I Never Loved You rapper on the single “Not Jus Anybody”, which came out last summer. Future also served as executive producer on Kanye West‘s DONDA 2.
On Friday, Jacquees released his latest single, “Say yes.” The video for the suffocating bedroom anthem features a cameo by Keith Sweat.
“I know a bunch of people think we’re having trouble with the king of the R&B thing, but that’s my OG,” he said of the “Make It Last Forever” legend.

Directed by X, the cinematic clip is set in the middle ages and tells the story of the Poisonous King. Future plays a king who goes to war and leaves his queen behind. Another man tries to win her over in her absence and eventually cheats on her, but Future gets the last laugh.
