J.Cole Shows Up At Fan’s College Graduation
J. Cole takes on his natural state when it comes to his fans.
The Dreamville rapper surprised one of his most loyal supporters when it came to his college graduation, nearly a decade after first meeting him.
In 2013, Cierra Bosarge-Fussell called a local radio station in hopes that J.Cole would come to his high school and wish him a Happy New Year.
Three months later, he received a phone call from Cole, who invited him to meet in person in Philadelphia and presented him with a letter he had written for him years earlier.
“Everything I’ve experienced is written in the letter,” Bosarge told Complex at the time. “With the adoption, my parents became addicted to drugs in and out of prison. Both parents were in jail at the time, so I asked him if he could come to my graduation, because they can’t. ”

J.Cole Keeps His Promise
Cole told Cierra that he would attend his high school graduation if he kept his grades high and entered a four-year university. Two years after their meeting, Cole kept his promise and attended Cierra’s high school graduation.
And when Cierra graduated from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, on Wednesday, he was there enough to surprise other students.

“This is for all the fans who are waiting, bitch ni**, the old anchors we date, as we hate, look mom, we made it,” she wrote in the headline, quoting lyrics from Cole’s 2012 hit “Nobody’s Perfect.”
Cole’s manager, Ibrahim Hamad, also congratulated him, saying: “Congratulations on your success, you deserve it!! I love seeing him.”
