Jay-Z Admits His ‘In My Lifetime, Vol 1’ Album ‘Haunts’ Him

Jay-Z on his 1997 album In My Lifetime, Vol. 1 took to Twitter on Sunday to explain how he felt about it. Hovs rare insight into his second studio album was prompted by a tweet from Questlove, who quoted a fan who argued that LPs lead single, “(Always Be My) Sunshine,” was better than people remember.

Our main argument is his hate for Vol 1,Questlove wrote. “He is embarrassed for trying to make a monster & not putting numbers up. But ALOT of this lp contains his best moments. Fight me @sc.” Jay-Z later offered his thoughts on the album, writing:

Its accepted. Whats more, I know what it could be, so I cant stop thinking about it. The first song was made while the streets were watching!”

Right now, Jay-z is rocking social media saying that his wife Beyonce is an enhanced version of Michael Jackson. During a recent conversation on Twitter SpaceJay-z said, “He’s going to be mad at me for saying that, but Michael Jackson has never had a Coachella.”

Jay-Z further added, “She’s an evolution of him because she watched him at 9. And the kids are the same.” Recalling Beyonce’s wowing performance at Coachella Music Festival 2018, Jay-Z added, “Find me a concert that’s as culturally relevant and thrilling as Coachella.”
