Julia Fox Reportedly Had A ‘SECRET ROMANCE’ With Drake Before Kanye West
Drake and Julia Fox had a romance before Kanye West. According to Page Six, the Uncut Gems actress had a “Warm and heavy secret romance” with Certified Lover Boy a year before dating her former rival. Fox reportedly told Ye about his relationship with Drake, and Ye wasn‘t thrilled about it. Drake reached out to Fox on an Instagram DM to compliment her. Her role in the 2019 Adam Sandler film and flirted with her.
Fox reconnected with Drake after ending his relationship with longtime girlfriend Peter Artemiev. Insiders say they met in New York in February 2020, and the “Way 2 Sexy” rapper invited him and a friend to the Bowery Hotel for a drink.
Drake also arrived at Bloomingdale‘s, where Fox promoted it, the next day.
“They closed the store so he could visit,” a source said. A few days after Valentine‘s Day, Fox flew to Los Angeles, where Drake gifted her two Birkin bags. He also stayed at his mansion in Toronto, but his trip was cut short amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Then he went to [his hometown] Toronto to stay with him,” said one insider. “They were closing the border [between Canada and the U. S. ] and had to go home,” he said.
Fox later rekindled his relationship with Artemiev, who has a 1-year-old son. After she split from Artemiev, Fox met kanye west on New Year‘s Eve, and the rest is history.
“I met Ye in Miami on New Year’s Eve and it was an instant connection,” Fox wrote after one of their dates. “Everything with us has been so organic. I don’t know where things are headed but if this is any indication of the future I’m loving the ride.”
