Kanye West Announces ‘DONDA 2’ Release Date
The date of DONDA 2 has been announced. Just six months after releasing DONDA, Kanye West is set to release his sequel. Taking to Instagram, the executive, produced by Future, announced that the sequel to the 2021 album would arrive on Tuesday, February 22.
“DONDA2 COMING 2 22 22 EXECUTIVE PRODUCED BY FUTURE,” he wrote alongside a photo of a billboard where his childhood went up in flames with his release date. Earlier this month, G. O. O. D. Music COO Steven Victor announced that DONDA 2 would take place, which we reported on. “You started working on his new masterpiece, DONDA 2,” he told Complex. Moneybagg would later confirm the album in a text message conversation with Yo.

DONDA 2 is becoming a star-studded affair. Ye was seen in the studio with Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Moneybagg Yo, Big Sean, The Game, Hit-Boy, Five Foreign, Pusha T and more.

Kanye West also plans to launch a clothing collaboration with Skid Row Fashion Week on the same day as Donda 2, and proceeds will be collected and distributed for the homeless as well.
