Kanye West will perform a fundraiser concert at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to support Larry Hover, an imprisoned Chicago gang boss as West uploaded a poster for the event on Instagram with the phrase “God’s Plan,” a reference to Drake’s 2018 single.
Drizzy hasn’t made any public announcements about the event, but we’ll assume he’s in favor, given that he hosted Ye and J Prince in his Toronto home last week, when the rivalry was put to rest.
Larry Hoover Jr., Hoover’s son, stated on the “Murder Master Music Show” earlier this week that West and Drake were preparing a performance to help liberate his father.
Hoover Jr., also appeared on West’s newest album, “Donda,” as a spoken word artist and stated, “We’re going to get the word out to as many people as we can. We gotta let the powers that be known that we want Larry Hoover in our community.”
Hoover, a co-founder of the Gangster Disciples, is currently serving six life sentences for ordering the murder of a 19-year-old heroin dealer in 1973 and subsequently leading a narcotics network out of jail that brought in an estimated $100 million per year.
Drake’s first public performance since his canceled attendance at Astroworld Festival 2021 will be at the “Free Larry Hoover” fundraiser concert.
