Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, & Future To Headline Rolling Loud Miami
Rolling Loud Miami has announced the lineup for the 2022 festival. Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and Future will headline the world’s biggest hip-hop festival when they perform at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens on July 22-24.
The star-studded event features Lil Baby, Kodak Black, Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti and Saweetie, as well as Lil Durk, Don Toliver, Baby Keem, City Girls, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Three Six Mafia, Moneybagg Yo and more. DaBaby will once again take to the Rolling Loud stage after last year’s controversial set, in which he made homophobic comments and was later cut from other festival lineups.
Before the Rolling Loud performance, Ye will headline both weekends of Coachella in April. Kendrick, who is expected to release his long-awaited new album this year, has not performed at a festival since Day N Vegas in November.
Tickets for the 7th annual festival go on sale Monday, March 7 at 12.m ET. Pre-sale tickets sold out within two hours in December.
Eminem Praises Kendrick Lamar
Eminem will appear before his fans at the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on Sunday, February 13. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige will accompany him.
Eminem did an interview with SiriusXM’s Sway Calloway ahead of the big show. He paid tribute to Kendrick Lamar, the youngest member of the Super Bowl Halftime Show roster.
Sway was asked if he agreed that Kendrick was “the most exciting vocalist of this generation”. Eminem’s response was striking. “I absolutely would agree. Kendrick is at the very top, top tier of lyricists — not just of this generation, but of all time.”
These words of the Detroit legend are really valuable. For a young rapper, these accolades from Eminem are truly unbelievable. It’s also honorable. Eminem, who has shared his admiration for Kendrick Lamar many times in the past, continued his words of praise.
