Kendrick Lamar Raps About Kanye West And Drake Reunion
Kendrick Lamar ‘s new album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, was released earlier today, and it didn’t take long for fans to memorize the lyrics.
Divided into two parts of nine tracks each, the double album features views from Baby Keem, Kodak Black, Summer Walker, Ghostface Killah, Sampha, Blxst and more, with production by Pharrell, Boi-1da, DJ Dahi and The Alchemist.
In the Sampha-supported “Daddy Time,” Kendrick rapes about Kanye West and Drake’s reconciliation and admits he was “confused” when former rivals crushed beef and reunited on stage in Los Angeles in December.
“When Kanye comes back with Drake, I’m a little confused / I think I’m not as mature as I thought, I have some healing to do,” he rapes.

In the Pharrell production “Mr. Morale” featuring Tanna Leone, the song brings up R. Kelly, who was convicted in a sex trafficking case. “I think of Robert Kelly / I wonder if life would have failed him if he hadn’t been harassed,” he says of the embattled R&B star.
In the same track, the reclusive rapper reveals that her 2-year-old daughter’s name is Uzi (“Uzi, your father is in deep meditation”) after sharing that she had a second child before.
