Kim Kardashian Will Not Remove “WEST” From Her Last Name
Kim Kardashian West officially updated her last name after marrying Kanye West in 2014, and it looks like they will continue to do so once their divorce is finalized. According to TMZ, Kim will not change her West surname. Of course, you may think that there are many reasons for this.
As you know, the former couple’s four children, North, Chicago, Psalm and Saint, are surnamed West. She will continue with the West surname as the Kardashian wants to have the same surname as her children, but will not make a special move for the name YE. If her legal petition is approved, Kim Kardashian could become the only parent to share the same last name with her four children after her divorce.
The news came shortly after West was reported to have legally filed the documents for the name “YE”. It is known that Kim supports Kanye in this regard. After all, even though Kanye changes his name, it won’t have any negative impact on his recognition. He’s already been known to his fans as “YE” for years.
The couple, who had various disagreements last February, decided to divorce. Despite this, Kim Kardashian remains supportive of her soon-to-be ex-husband Kanye. We can also guess that Kim Kardashian, who attended the listening parties for her unreleased album “Donda”, will also attend the show in Chicago. TMZ also reported that the two had lunch together earlier this month.
We reported in our previous article that Kanye submitted the necessary documents to the authorities to legally change his name to “YE”.
