Mariah Carey & Big Latto Drop ‘Big Energy’ Remix Ft. DJ Khaled
Big Latto collaborated with Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled. The “Big Energy” remix has been a new joy for fans.
Latto made collaborative moves on Friday, March 25, the day she released her album 777. She tweeted the special 777 emoji next to a butterfly, which is Mariah’s famous symbol. The singer then retweeted, posting a hint that a collaboration is on the way.
It was later reported that Mariah Carey would appear in the remix alongside DJ Khaled.
Latto sent a lovely message to Mariah Carey, who celebrated her “anniversary” on Sunday, March 27. She also paid her respects to the superstar for appearing in the song.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE ICON HERSELF @MariahCarey,” Latto tweeted. “THANK U FOR YOUR LEGENDARY VOCALS & ALL THE ADVICE YOU GAVE ME QUEEN 🦋🦋🦋🌈🌈🌈💖💖💖💖 LETS SHAKE THE ROOM AT MIDNIGHT,” she added.
Mariah Carey also shared her expectations before the “Big Energy” remix.

Latto had expressed hopes for chart success when he announced her song last week.

After making her first 20 hits with “Big Energy” the rapper, formerly known as Mulatto, began to reintroduce herself with her second studio album, 777. The 23-year-old MC showcases its growth and versatility in the 13-piece project, which includes collaborations with 21 Savage, Lil Durk, Nardo Wick and Kodak Black, as well as Lil Wayne and Childish Gambino (“Sunshine”).
“I wanted to solidify myself and where I fit in the industry,” Latto told Complex of the follow-up to her 2020 debut Queen of Da Souf . “This is just the first introduction. ‘Big Energy’ is the pop sound from this project. I got an R&B sound. I got the rap trap sound. I got some rhythmic stuff that I did with Pharrell, just different swaggy stuff.”
