Mary J. Blige shines during her Super Bowl 2022 halftime performance. The 51-year-old singer joined Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar – a surprise appearance by 50 Cent – during Sunday’s big game, and the shimmering Peter Dundas officially outperformed others with his disco ball look.
Mary J. Blige performed “A Family Affair” and “No More Drama” in a long-sleeved lace-up crop top with matching warm pants, fingerless gloves and thigh-high boots, all covered in reflective leopard prints and silver sequins.

She further upped the bling factor with Sister Love hoop earrings covered in 33-carat diamonds ($1,500) and topped it all off with a wide-brimmed hat that matched her hip-length blonde extensions at the height of the performance.
“I thought [the mirrors] worked really well with Mary because she pulls so much on your heartstrings with singing about things that you kind of identify with yourself,” he said. “She almost becomes a reflection of the audience as well.”

“Wow. That’s all I’m gonna say, wow. I think you want to give them Mary on steroids, just, like, the most beautiful, glamorous, ghetto fabulous whatever! We’re gonna take it to a whole other level,” she told Entertainment Tonight of her outfit ahead of the reveal.
After the show, Dundas will make the singer’s custom look available as an NFT so that anyone can look like “Mary on steroids” in the Metaverse.
There was Super Bowl excitement last night
California knows how to party. Dr. Dre competed for West Coast and hip-hop on Sunday, February 13, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, with one of the most epic halftime shows ever at Super Bowl LVI. The hip-hop icon was joined by famous friends including Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar. Dre and Snoop opened the nearly 14-minute celebration with “The Next Episode,” perched on an elaborate white set reminiscent of their hometown.
