Meek Mill Makes Statements About Parting Ways With Jay Z

Meek Mill and Jay-Z have parted ways. Meek decided to leave Roc Nation’s management and go his own way.

Roc Nation supported the rapper even while Meek was in prison. These recent events may come as a surprise. Meek took to Twitter to clear up the confusion. He said he still does some things with Jay Z but takes control of his career.

Meek tweeted, “All I seen today was meek and roc part ways …I’m personally handling my own business so I can take risk and grow ..we came to that agreement together..I have a label deal with roc for my artist and I got reform super tied with them and many other investments wit jigga.”


Meek Mill Defends Gunna And Young Thug

He drew on her own experiences with the criminal justice system. He took to Instagram to be with his friends who are struggling similarly.

Meek took to IG on Friday, May 13. He shared with fans his thoughts on Young Thug and Gunna’s latest indictment regarding the RICO charges. He prayed for the district attorney to be fair.

“Thug put on many families I seen with my own eyes,” Meek wrote. “Stand up for them in these times not the lit ones! Labels, women, n-ggas… I pray that DA be fair to them knowing what we out here tryna survive. Thug and Gunna ain’t no crime bosses, they successful rappers with influence that didn’t leave their environment behind… If you bring your environment with you it’s basically RICO. Watch yourself out here.”

Young Thug and Gunna are currently in the Fulton County Jail. They will be held there for now as both rappers were denied ties on Wednesday, May 11.

Metro Boomin took to Twitter on Wednesday, May 12.

“YSL is not a gang and never been a gang fool,” the famed producer wrote on Twitter. “YSL is a registered LLC and has provided countless jobs and opportunities for underprivileged black people and really just all people cause that’s how big Thug heart is.”
