Megan Thee Stallion Talks About Her Upcoming Album

Megan Thee Stallion is working hard on her second studio album. The famous rapper spoke to Rolling Stone about her upcoming album and her inspirations.

Megan said she is working hard for the sequel to her 2020 debut album Good News. She said she hopes it comes out this summer.

“I want to take you through so many different emotions,” the “Thot Shit” rapper explained of her forthcoming, as-yet-untitled release. “At first you was twerking, now you might be crying.” Last month, Megan said she was “probably like 95 percent done” with the album.

Fans have already received a teaser for “Pressurelicious.” The song also features Future, which has Meg gushing about Future Hendrix’s talent.

“He just so f—ing ratchet!” Megan said. “He is unapologetically himself. I appreciate that about anybody who gets up and has to do anything in the public eye. Anybody who has to read about their life online every day and deal with so many energies and can put it out into their music and do it gracefully, I feel like you deserve your flowers.”

“It’s a whole movie trying to write in the shower, but I keep my speaker loud and I just freestyle, and then I write it down when I get out,” Megan explained. ‘Yes, Megan Thee Stallion, she was great, she was a rapper. She was one of the best rappers, the coldest,’” she said.

Megan Thee Stallion Wants Tory Lanez To Go To Jail

Megan Thee Stallion wants to see Tory Lanez behind bars.

The Houston rapper graced the cover of Rolling Stone for the first time. In the interview, she recounts the infamous evening of July 11, 2020, when Kylie Jenner left the pool party with Lanez and her former best friend Kelsey Harris before an argument broke out in the car. When Megan got out of the car, Lanez allegedly shouted, “Dance, bitch!” and started shooting at her.

She cried as she recounted the events. “I thought we had a real connection,” she said, sharing that Lanez and I bonded over the mutual loss of their mother. “I thought you knew me. And I never thought he was going to shoot at me.”

Lanez was charged with assault with a semi-automatic firearm and another for carrying a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He pleaded not guilty and will appear in court with Megan when the case goes to court in September.
