Nas & 50 Cent & More Give AZ His Flowers in New Documentary
On Wednesday, the first trailer for ‘Jewels, Gems & Treasures‘ was released. The film, which featured Nas and 50 Cent, dated AZ‘s life.
AZ‘s legacy will be unveiled in the new documentary Jewels, Gems & Treasures. On Wednesday, fans of the Brooklyn rapper were shown a surprise trailer with cameos from Nas, 50 Cent, Buckwild and EMI executive Daniel Glass, who signed AZ to his first record deal. The documentary is also named after AZ’s 2015 book.
“AZ would say some slippery shit,” 50 says in the trailer.
“Never did I think that Nas being signed was an open door for me to get on. We both laughed–the next thing you know we [were] on the Illmatic promo tour,” AZ explained.
“A lot of cats that I know from around the world look at AZ like, ‘Yo, he’s one of the coldest rappers ever,’” Buckwild says in the trailer.
