Nicki Minaj Responds To Potential Verzuz With Lil Kim
Nicki Minaj weighs a potential Verzuz with Lil’ Kim On Wednesday, Joe Budden released his highly anticipated speech to the “Do We Have a Problem?” rapper, in which he asked about the possibility of matching her rap rival.
Earlier this year, Nicki said she would entertain her with the battle of verzuz. “I think there might be one or two women…” She told Houston’s 97.9 to The Box. Joe suggested Lil’ Kim and missy elliott would be the only two females who could compete with him. “Just Kim and Missy and maybe Lauryn [Hill],” he said.

Nicki remained coy about who she was referring to, but she did not rule out Lil’ Kim as a potential opponent. “I’m not saying anybody’s name,” she said.
When Joe told Nicki that she wanted to do Verzuz so she could “slaughter” the competition, Nicki said she doesn’t look at it as a battle. “No, because I approach those things as a rap fan, not as Minaj,” she said.
“I think it’s too… Joe laughed and he continued.
Nicki sees it as a celebration together instead of a competition.
“It’s just about someone stealing their joints and people reminisking and going crazy… So yes, there are people.”
Joe insisted that Nicki and Kim make it happen. “That’s got to be it,” Nicki smiled.
Kim has previously said swizz beatz and timbaland will fight Nicki in the matchup series.
Elsewhere in the Budden interview, Nicki agreed with Kim about crossing boundaries and covering up Vogue in particular without taking her flowers. Nicki explained that she believes kim should be on the cover of the fashion magazine as well.
