It’s unclear who Nicki was referring to, but her name has recently been brought up by rappers such as Erica Banks and Rubi Rose. During an interview with the “Big Facts” podcast, Rubi mentioned Nicki when asked how she would feel about becoming a financial provider in a relationship.
“I don’t want to be the man in the relationship. But I will, I see Nicki Minaj is happy,” she said, suggesting that Nicki makes more money than her husband, Kenneth Petty.

Rose later said she had no intention of insulting Nicki.
“I didn’t mean it in any disrespectful way,” he commented in The Shade Room. “I was just saying you could be happy with a man who earns less than you. Next time I’ll call you Britney Spears.”
Earlier in the day, Nicki dropped her new video for “We Go Up” featuring Fivio Foreign. She also warned her fans that her new album could be “significantly” delayed if they don’t “do what needs to be done” with the video.
