Pete Davidson Denies Kanye West’ s Claim That He Made Him Quit Instagram
Pete Davidson denies Kanye West ‘ran away’ him from Instagram Earlier this week, Ye boasted that cyberbullying led Kim Kardashian to take out her new boyfriend’s latest Instagram account, which she called “Skete.”
“I threw Skete out of the gram,” Ye wrote. “Tell your mother I changed your name for life.”
But while West wants to get praise for getting the “SNL” comedian to leave Instagram, a source close to Davidson says otherwise.
Pete Explains Why He Deleted Instagram
“Pete deleted his IG because immediately after his first post he started receiving a flood of messages, both positive and negative, and reminded him why he didn’t want social media to start,” a source told Page Six.
Before deleting his page, Davidson shared a link to a video in which Robert De Niro stars as fictional comic Rupert Pupkin in the 1981 film The King of Comedy, in which many people say, “It’s better to be king one night than schmuck for life.”

“[Pete] is in the middle of a few big film projects and he wants to focus a lot on the positive things that are happening in his work and life,” the source added. “Kanye didn’t fire Pete on social media.”
For West, attempts to win Kim back didn’t seem to work. After repeated attacks, including sharing private texts from his estranged wife, Kim asked a judge to immediately restore his condition.
“I would love to divorce,” she said in court documents. “Kanye gives a lot of false information about our private issues and parenting together that causes emotional distress on social media,” she said.
Is Kanye West the New Michael Jackson?
In an interview with The Jasmine Brand, Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Damon Dash talked about Kanye West and his cultural influence.
“I was the guy who always ran around with a camera ’cause I knew that these moments were priceless, it was just a matter of when it was time,” he said. “So, I was glad that they actually took that advice and did that, or at least followed the example. I got a lotta footage, but it’s just the time, it’s always about the times. I think this is the right time for that.”
Damon Dash called Kanye West “our new Michael Jackson”. “Whether that’s negative or positive, that’s just what it is … every move he makes, everybody’s paying attention to … he triggers the world.”
Kanye West, who will release the second of his Donda album, which he released in 2021, on February 22, is preparing something very solid for his fans who are eagerly waiting for Donda 2.
Kanye West knows the words he has used for Pete Davidson lately, buying a house on the street of Kim Kardashian’s house, making a new girlfriend and then breaking up with his girlfriend Julia Fox, collaborating with his name.
