“I had the best of both worlds in regards to production and in regards to two people that actually understand who I am and they like two different things from me that I feel are both really great,” Pusha told Charlamagne Tha God. “This body of work is untouchable because it doesn’t lean too heavy on either side…you get the whole spectrum. It’s my most well-rounded body of work.”
It’s Almost Dry, which Pusha previously declared the “album of the year,” follows 2018’s Daytona, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album and became the highest-charting project of Pusha’s career.
Pusha will perform on “The Tonight Show” on the eve of his album release before taking the show on the road. His “It’s Almost Dry Tour” launches May 29 in Seattle before traveling to Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York, and Atlanta, wrapping June 23 in Philadelphia.
