Remy Ma said on Drink Champs that she didn’t classify Doja Cat as a rapper. After that, she faced a lot of backlash on the internet.
The Bronx native, however, expressed that he meant the opposite. She said her words were distorted and she was actually praising Doja.
Remy Ma clarified in an interview with Black Compass Media when discussing the topic of opportunities for female rappers. Host Tone Bro quipped, “You tryna line up Doja Cat?”
Remy Ma responded, “Don’t even bring her up. I thought I was giving [her] a compliment, ”she added, referring to her past remarks. “Her whole entourage or fan base came for my life. I was like, ‘I thought I said something good!’”
Meanwhile, Remy Ma is on her way with her second event in New York this month.

In classic Doja style, she posed in front of the mirror while making silly faces.
Her name stared trending as fans took to social media to ogle over Doja’s thirst traps. One quoted her “Juicy” lyrics while others shared their excited reactions in meme form.
Doja will have a little more time to work on her tan after canceling her upcoming tour dates. She dropped out of her festival run as well as her opening slot on The Weeknd’s “After Hours Til Dawn” tour while she recovers from tonsil surgery.
She plans to get back in the studio and start recording her next album, which is said to be predominantly rap.
“I have been getting songs and things sent to me…. Oh f**k, I wish I could tell people! There’s some really cool stuff that I got sent from friends. They’re all working on beats, and I’m giving them notes and they know what I want, so I’m excited,” she recently told ELLE.
