Republican Ronny Jackson Blames Rap Music

Republican Congressman Ronny Jackson blamed rap music and video games for the murderous school attack in Uvalde.

The Texas politician was interviewed by Fox News. In this interview, he dismissed the need for gun control. But, Jackson chose other things to blame instead. It targeted rap music and video games.

“When I grew up, things were different,” Ronny Jackson said. “There was a focus on family and community and church … And I just think that kids are exposed to all kinds of horrible stuff today too. I look back and I think about the horrible stuff that they hear when they listen to rap music, the video games that they watch from a really early age with all of this horrible violence and stuff. And I just think that they have this access to the internet on a regular basis, which is just not good for kids, I don’t think.”

“I think we need stop at this particular point,” the Republican said. “Nobody needs to be pointing fingers too much right now.”

An attacker named Salvador Ramos murdered 19 students and two teachers at Robb Primary School in Uvalde on Tuesday, May 24. The 18-year-old suspect was neutralized by police teams and killed.

Ronny Jackson And Roland Gutierrez Told Different Things

Texas Senator Roland Gutierrez told CNN the state police had briefed him. On the other hand, police still have not made a statement about the cause of the incident.

The attack is known to be the deadliest school attack in Texas history. It is considered the second largest attack in the country after the Sandy Hook elementary school attack in Connecticut in 2012, which killed 28 people.

Investigations by federal and national security officials into the attack continue at the scene. And information about the identities of 18 students killed at Robb Elementary School, where approximately 600 students are located, has not been shared yet.
