The song “I Like” is accompanied by a music video in which Kentucky rapper first co-directed behind the scenes.
Rose raps opening verse; “I don’t need a beat, bitch/I’m on stage with the bands/In the club like ebony, I came here to dance/Hair down to my ass, skin look like cinnamon,”
After the unforgettable moments in Migos‘ “Bad and Boujee” and Cardi B’s “WAP” music videos, Rubi Rose attracted attention with her first mixtape For the Streets. Released in December 2020, the project featured rap stars like Cardi, Future, and PartyNextDoor alongside her debut hit “He In His Feelings.”

Rubi Rose was born on October 2, 1997, in Lexington, Kentucky. And she grew up to Nardos Ghebrulul, who is also an Eritrean immigrant dentist, and John Benton, an American and Japanese lawyer. Rubi has an older sister named Scarlette and a younger sister she.
She lived in Geneva, Switzerland for a year. She moved to Snellville, Georgia every third year of high school.
She studied politics at Georgia State University.
