Saweetie So Excited For Grammys
First-time Grammy nominee Saweetie is having a great year and everything is just beginning for her.
The 28-year-old rapper reflected her success at the 64th Grammy Awards.
Cox has previously stated that Saweetie’s career goal is to be successful.

“Girl, don’t make me cry,” Saweetie told Cox, getting emotional. “Don’t make me cry! Yes [I imagined I’d find success] but I didn’t know it would happen this quick.”
The rapper, who released her first single “Icy Girl” in 2018 and has since had hits like “My Type” and “Tap In”, was nominated for best rap song and best new artist at this year’s Grammys.
“Best Friend” is a collaboration with Doja Cat. Saweetie praised Doja Cat and stated that she had known him before.
“She’s amazing, she looks good, she raps bomb, and I just love her,” she said. “I met her like, three years ago. So I met her before we did the collab. I’m just excited for us tonight.”

Saweetie seems very busy lately. While she deals with many topics such as winning Grammy nominations and progressing towards branding, she is also looking for collaborations with rap legends.
Earlier this week, she hit the studio with two legends. They are Dr. Dre and Erick Sermon. Saweetie also shared about it on Instagram.
“We worked on my new project #DYNAMICDUOS … the next day [Dr. Dre] called @snoopdogg we made something epic for him .. then we made something for him after.. I think lol,” she wrote. “Then he says erik .. that’s 3. What’s next ?

Saweetie won Billboard’s Game Changer Award at the 2022 Women In Music event on Wednesday night, March 2. She became the second person to receive the award after Nicki Minaj. Saweetie thanked his family, close friends and supporters.
“My frequency of gratitude is vibrating at an all-time high.” She also sang her latest single, “Closer”.
