Sean Forbes to Join Eminem in Super Bowl
Eminem will be performing at Super Bowl LVI next weekend. Sean Forbes will join him. We’re guessing it’s going to catch fire!
According to the Detroit Free Press, local rapper Sean Forbes – along with colleague Warren (WaWa) Snipe, who is both deaf – for the performance, hired Eminem, Dr. Dre will join Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar. It will take place on Sunday, February 13 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. These interpretations, described as “an elevated accessibility experience”, will be available through the NBC Sports website and app.
WaWa joined Jazmine Sullivan and Eric Church to sing the US national anthem last year. Excited for the Super Bowl, the singer told the Washington Post that he would “listen to the music over and over to get a feel for the music and the song.”

Forbes talked about the joy of joining Eminem and his team. “The doors to accessibility are busted wide open with something like this.”

Forbes avoided going into details about the performance. We understand that you want some things to stay as a surprise. However, he has confirmed that he will be joining Eminem and Snoop Dogg. The next week will be tiring for him because he will be rehearsing the show in Los Angeles.

Forbes reportedly has familial ties to Eminem, and his father is linked to some people in Eminem’s business circle. Forbes also regularly performs at 54 Sound studios in Ferndale, which Eminem frequented during his development years, according to NME.
“My goal is to get out there, show what we can do, and have fun,” he continued. “And I want to open the door for other deaf performers.”
Forbes had previously been on the agenda with the EP ‘Little Victories’ project, which was released in February 2020 under the label Two Blown Speakers.
