SpotemGottem Was Arrested In a Hotel Room
Nehemiah Lamar Harden, 19, known as SpotemGottem, was arrested in an Aventura hotel room on Thursday (July 15th) following an investigation into an incident that investigators say occurred in Miami Beach in June. There are allegations that the rapper was involved in a dispute over an $80 parking fee in June.
According to an arrest statement obtained by Local 10 News, the U.S. Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Harden and launched a special operation based on it. Detectives found him in room 746 at the AC Hotel Miami Aventura on Biscayne Avenue and said Harden was lying in bed. Detectives also saw a gun with him.
Miami Beach Police were investigating an assault with a deadly weapon and a criminal misconduct case related to a June 20 incident in Miami Beach in which Harden was allegedly involved.
How Did It Happen?
During a dispute over the cost of the $80 parking fee at the Collins Avenue garage, police said Harden, who was sitting in the rear passenger seat of the white Dodge Charger, leaned forward and pointed a green laser gun at the victim.
The car then quickly drove away from the scene. Harden is charged with firearm aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted criminal, and complicity after the incident. Three more people were detained for alleged involvement in the parking lot incident. The allegations that he pointed a gun at the parking attendant show that the rapper will remain on the agenda for a very long time about this incident.
The rapper, known for his 2020 single “Beat Box”, which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, will be performing at the Rolling Loud Miami Festival next week.
Harden, 19, was arrested and charged with firearm aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted criminal, and complicity after the incident, WPLG reported. It was released on Friday for $18,500 in bonds, WTVJ reported.
