Big Latto‘ s ready for a big album now.
After making her first 20 hits with “Big Energy” the rapper, formerly known as Mulatto, began to reintroduce herself with her second studio album, 777. The 23-year-old MC showcases its growth and versatility in the 13-piece project, which includes collaborations with 21 Savage, Lil Durk, Nardo Wick and Kodak Black, as well as Lil Wayne and Childish Gambino (“Sunshine”).
“I wanted to solidify myself and where I fit in the industry,” Latto told Complex of the follow-up to her 2020 debut Queen of Da Souf . “This is just the first introduction. ‘Big Energy’ is the pop sound from this project. I got an R&B sound. I got the rap trap sound. I got some rhythmic stuff that I did with Pharrell, just different swaggy stuff.”

On Monday, she will release the official remix to “Big Energy” featuring a mystery female guest, which is rumored to be Nicki Minaj.
Big Latto is currently bringing the “Big Energy” to a city near you on her “777 Tour” with Saucy Santana.

Big Latto Drops Funk Flex Freestyle
Just days after the release of his new album, Big Latto brought back her fiery flow to funkmaster Flex.
The 23-year-old rapper proved to be one of hip-hop’s most promising MC’s on UGK’s “International Players Anthem.”
Latto debuted on Jermaine Dupri’s reality competition series “The Rap Game”
“I was in the Rap Game, now I’m about to run it, I keep watching it,” she says.
“It feels good to be the one these bitches shoot at / You’ve all heard a line from me that I’m not fu**ing,” she wrote.
She continued to emerge in his freestyle. I’m a GOAT in the production / They say the kid’s great / I cut rap as short as summer time.
