The Game Recalls Awkward Relationship With Kanye West Over Kim Kardashian
The Game recalled a “strange” conversation he had with Kanye West.
The Compton rapper recalled how his former relationship with Kim Kardashian affected his business relationship with his “Eazy” collaborator. While promoting his new album Drillmatic with Complex, The Game revealed Kanye’s past remarks about his ex-wife.
“When I needed Ye, he was always there for me, and that’s after me and Kim had occasionally disrespected his marriage by saying what it used to be and things like that,” she told host Speedy Morman.
The game made offensive comments about Kanye’s ex-girlfriend in a song recorded for her 2019 album Born to Rap. “I’m a goat, nia/I grabbed Kim Kardashian by the throat, nia/I made her swallow my kids until she drowned, nia,” rapped on the track before apologizing to Kanye West: “I have to apologize, because Ye is my folks, nia.”
But despite Game’s history with Kim, Ye was able to laugh at it. “Now we’re going to joke about it. I sit with Ye, and he says, ‘Damn, you fu**ed with Kim first.’ And I’m going to be like, ‘Oh, we’re in a room full of people.’”

Game admits it was “weird” at first, but they were able to get past it. “Now it’s like You being honest and everything is fine. More power to Kim and his deeds, to Ye, and to all the dynamics of raising his children.”
ven though they’ve gone their separate ways, Game wants Kimye to still be together. “I believe that co-parenting is beautiful. “I wish they were still a unit, because Kim and Kanye were like something.” “They have four beautiful children and I hate that families fall apart. But they both seem happy elsewhere, and that’s great.”
During the interview, he also discussed the controversial “Drink Champs” interview and said that Ye had done more in two weeks than Dr. Dre had done in his entire career.
